Our U11 Boys travelled to Kildysart this evening to play in their 1st round tie of the National Cup. After a tight opening period, our boys started to take control and took the lead through a well taken goal from Shane Duggan. Our boys hard work throughout the 1st half paid off with a well-deserved 2nd goal through Luka Conlon to go in 2.0 at halftime. Kildysart to their credit came out fighting in the 2nd half but found Jake Geary in great form pulling off some wonder saves. Lewis Aylmer was a rock at the back for us denying Kildysart on numerous occassions. We were unlucky not to add more but shots from Lochlainn O Connell and Evan Power were well saved. Final score was 2.0 to the delight of the players, management and the large travelling support. Thanks to all involved. Well done boys!!
